The Armed Forces Interest Group (AFIG) an initiative of the Rancho Santa Fe Foundation, is establishing a framework for a regional collaborative effort to provide on-going financial and volunteer support for the San Diego military community.
AFIG is comprised of 30 people from the San Diego area who are committed to providing financial assistance to organizations who support local military personnel and their families, primarily Junior Enlisted and Veterans.
Four funds have been established at the Foundation. Their purpose is to acquire funds to address current needs through identified organizations and establish endowments for future needs.
