Through donor advised funds and the competitive grants process, the Rancho Santa Fe Foundation supports work that aligns with our mission to improve the quality of life for residents of San Diego County and beyond.
The Foundation provides grant making opportunities in the following ways:
Donor Advised Fund Grants — All donors have a common goal – to use their resources to address the greatest needs of their communities and the world. Through our community knowledge, we match interests with resources to effect the change that is needed the most.
Competitive Grants — Through un-restricted funds controlled by the Foundation, we support charitable organizations whose mission and services align with RSF Foundation priorities. These are frequently made in collaboration with donor advised funds or other individuals in the community.
Armed Forces Interest Group (AFIG) — A competitive grant program focused on charitable organizations whose mission and services support the needs of the military, their families and veterans.
Rancho Santa Fe Women’s Fund — A competitive grants program centered on charitable organizations that respond to urgent and critical needs, bold new ventures, and new approaches to time-worn problems within the annual member-selected focus.
